The RAPT platform allows users to identify how different crops and varieties respond to current and future climatic conditions, providing key information for informed decisions on crop diversification, adaptation, and management. By integrating historical data, projected climate scenarios, and crop suitability models, RAPT helps plan more resilient agricultural strategies, supporting sustainable production systems in a changing climate.

Our work

From the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, we work to strengthen the resilience of agricultural systems in the face of climate change. Through the RAPT tool, we support farmers and decision-makers in planning more sustainable and future-adapted agricultural systems. RAPT identifies which crops and varieties are best suited to each region, highlights diversification opportunities, and provides information based on historical and future climate data, helping to guide informed decisions that promote sustainability and food security.
